If you want to put blocks on point in a quit, you need to calculate the size of the side and corner triangles. This ruler takes the math out of this. You only need to know the finished size of the block and the ruler has lines for cutting both side and corner tirangles. This rules can be used with blocks between 3 and 9 inch.The ruler has the same blunted corners that Marti Michell's templates have, fitting the patches exactly together for sewing.
